Curriculum PDFs

Our website provides downloadable PDFs for our student's curriculum. This help document will guide you through downloading, printing, and marking up these PDFs using the browser's native PDF viewer, as well as using programs like Adobe Acrobat on both MacOS and Windows.

Opening

Using Your Browser's Native PDF Viewer

By default, most modern web browsers will open PDFs using their native PDF viewer. Simply click on the PDF link on our website, and the PDF will open in a new browser tab.

Using Adobe Acrobat / other PDF readers

If you have downloaded the PDF and want to use Adobe Acrobat or another PDF reader:

  • Locate the downloaded PDF on your computer.
  • Right-click the file (Windows) or control-click (MacOS), and select "Open With."
  • Choose "Adobe Acrobat Reader" or your preferred PDF reader from the list of available programs.

Downloading

First, find the PDF you wish to download on our website.

Then, to download the PDF:

  • Right-click on the PDF link (Windows) or control-click (MacOS).
  • Select "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" from the context menu.
  • Choose a location on your computer where you want to save the file.
  • Click "Save."

Marking up

Your Browser's Native PDF Viewer

Most web browsers do not support advanced PDF markup features. However, you may be able to add basic comments or highlights, depending on your browser.

Using Adobe Acrobat or other PDF readers

Adobe Acrobat and other PDF readers often provide advanced markup features, such as highlighting, underlining, adding text comments, or drawing shapes. To use these features:

  • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat or your preferred PDF reader.
  • Locate the toolbar or menu containing the markup tools.
  • Select the desired markup tool and apply it to the text or area in the PDF.

Printing

To print the PDF while viewing it in your web browser

  • Click the "Print" icon or press "Ctrl + P" (Windows) or "Cmd + P" (MacOS) to open the print dialog.
  • Select your printer and adjust the print settings as needed.
  • Click "Print" to start printing.

Printing from Adobe Acrobat or other PDF readers: To print the PDF using Adobe Acrobat or another PDF reader

  • Open the PDF in your preferred PDF reader.
  • Click "File" in the menu bar, then select "Print" or press "Ctrl + P" (Windows) or "Cmd + P" (MacOS) to open the print dialog.
